This timber frame included gulam structural beams and post to support the floors and roof. The building is a highly insulated home featuring high performance timber windows. Cedar boarding is used to finish the rear facing west elevation.

Award Winning House

In 2009 the building was awarded the 'South Norfolk Council Design Award for Self Build in Broome' - achieving a 'High Commendation' for new build. Construction and detail drawings provide for this building, helped the 'self build' client achieve this award.

The photographs show the building has matured with the cedar boarding taking on a grey tone.
Planting and hard landscaping has finished this family home.
